FILLINGS:
Dr. Kline places many kinds of fillings: Cerec porcelain, gold, silver, and composite resin, but he prefers all fillings be tooth colored.
The patient below had some cavities and wanted to get rid of her amalgam fillings. The solution
for the patient was to place tooth colored fillings. Don't they look better?
DENTAL IMPLANTS:
The new millennium brings with it the technological marvel of implants. Teeth which have been lost can now be
replaced without removable appliances (partial dentures) or bridges (which involve preparation of adjacent,
perfectly undamaged teeth ). This technique is when a biologically-compatible metal (titanium) is placed
surgically within the bone where the tooth was lost. Four to six months later, the missing tooth is then
replaced with a wonderful, new tooth which fits onto the dental implant. It's like growing a new tooth in
about six months!
CROWNS AND BRIDGES:
Dr. Kline does many kinds of crowns and bridges, depending upon patient preference and where in the mouth
they are needed. A bridge spans and empty space, giving a person a fake tooth that is cemented in place and
is non-removable. A crown is basically a tooth helmet, protecting it from further damage from occlusal forces.
